Civic Nexus Finance Pty Ltd is a wholly owned finance vehicle of Civic Nexus Pty Ltd (‘Civic Nexus’). Civic Nexus is a special purpose vehicle chosen to deliver the finance, design, construction and operation of the Southern Cross Station (formerly known as the Spencer Street Station) for the State Government of Victoria under a private public partnership (PPP). Southern Cross Station is Victoria’s gateway for interstate rail and coach travellers. The station is also Melbourne’s gateway for regional rail and coach travellers and a major hub for suburban train travel to and from the Melbourne CBD.
